What Can You Find at TheVAResource?

When I made the decision to start a Professional Virtual Assistant business, I spent several weeks researching, reading and joining online communities in order to develop my business plan.  My head was spinning with the exciting ideas I had for my business, but as far as what business templates, forms and documents I would need, I had no idea where to start!  As a result, I spent 100s of dollars on various types of memberships, eBooks and hard copy books to gain access to sample documents, forms, tips and tools.

What was I looking for?  Simple, clear and customizable documents for the administrative and operational aspects of my virtual admin business.  While there are some great websites out there with free virtual assistant forms and sample documents (check out my free tips & tools page for some of my favorites), I found that many of them needed A LOT of work to make them functional.  So between the resources I paid for to gain access and the freebies, I narrowed down what I needed and then tapped into my background of documenting departmental systems and processes to customize the forms into versions I could use on a day-to-day basis.  As my administrative virtual assistant business grew, I also created business documents and guides based on my experience networking, working with clients and marketing my business.

Ready to shop?

I decided to offer a basic collection of simplified sample documents, forms, letters and guides that I really wish I had access to when I started my virtual assistant business.  These are not items I have seen in other virtual assistant template packets – and I think you’re going to like what you see!  Whether you are just starting your business or are looking to systematize your operational processes, it shouldn’t cost a lot to have access to quality samples you can easily customize and adapt for your business.  Ready to get organized?

I am a firm believer in the fact that organization goes a long way.  If you can systematize your administrative and operational processes that you depend on to manage new clients and keep your business running, you will have more time for billable hours.  After all, as a VA, if we aren’t billing clients, we’re not making money.  Most of the sample virtual assistant templates and forms included here are one to two pages.  That’s it!  I don’t need or want anything complicated and lengthy.  Keep in mind, there will be some customization you will need to do, and having well-organized business forms and documents will not bring automatic success, but streamlining your business processes is a step in the right direction!

My experience within the Virtual Assistant Network is that we are hard-working, motivated business owners with a lot of integrity.  I hope you find these documents helpful and all I ask as a fellow small business owner working hard to earn a living is that you do not share soft copies of these documents but rather refer those who may benefit from these tools to my website.  I'll be posting details on an affiliate program to reward your referrals soon.  Thank you!
